Facility Policies TEX Fun and Social is committed to maintaining a fun and enjoyable environment for all of our guests. The policies listed below are to ensure every guest has an enjoyable experience and expects all guests to adhere to our policies. Any violations of our policies may be grounds for denial of entry or request to exit the facility. Dismissal from the premises for policy violations will not result in a refund. TEX Fun and Social reserves the right to adjust our policies at any time.
Unattended Minors and Facility Curfew
Underage guests: Guests under the age of 18 will not be allowed entry to the facility without an adult over the age of 21 to escort them. Adults may only bring in 6 people under the age of 18 and must remain inside the facility with their minors until the entire group leaves. Adults attempting to leave the facility will need to leave their ID with the front desk and must keep their exit under 15 minutes. After 15 minutes the minors will be required to be picked up and refunds will not be issued. After 15 minutes we will be forced to call the authorities. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
Exceptions: parents and guardians under the age of 21 may bring in their own children and no more than 2 additional children 10 years of age and over. Parents and guardians with more children in their household may bring more than the allowed number as long as they are directly under their guardianship. There are no exceptions to the unattended minor policy.
TEX Fun & Social has a strict curfew policy which requires guests under the age of 21 to exit the premises by 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday with the exception of small children under direct supervision of their parents.
Go-Kart Restrictions
Our go-karts and track are designed for those with a moderate driving ability. Our 45mph karts and tight turns are difficult for most young drivers despite them being the required height. In order to maintain an enjoyable experience for everyone on the track, we will be requiring all drivers to be at least 15 years old OR hold a valid driver’s license/permit. We will make driver’s education courses available Wednesdays and Sundays to allow those under 15 to earn a certificate to drive our go-karts. We also offer driver’s tests throughout the day to allow those who have driven with us before to earn the certificate. Classes are $16.95 and test alone is $4.95.
Outside Food and Drink
Outside food and drink is not allowed in the facility at any time with the exception of baby food/formula and birthday cakes with booked and paid birthday party packages. TEX Fun & Social also does not allow outside cups to be brought into the facility without a medical purpose and those containers must be clear and completely see through.
Identification
To consume alcoholic beverages, you must establish that you are at least 21 years of age. You must have a valid identification card issued by a state or governmental agency containing your photograph, date of birth, height, sex, and color of eyes. TEX Lounge is unable to accept forms of identification that are expired, cracked, altered, or damaged in any way.
Smoking
There is no smoking in the facility, including vaporizers and electronic cigarettes. No pipe, cigar smoking, snuff or chewing tobacco. Guests may smoke 10 feet from the entrance doors or in the lounge beer garden.
